need to change color default settings for charts

not finding anything in Help or Office online. Anyone
know how I can change the default settings for charts?

you can format a chart etc as you want all new charts to look, add it in
under chart / chart type as a user defined chart & then set it as default
and all new charts will take the look of this one.

If it's just the colors you want to change, you can adjust the
workbook's color palette. Choose Options from the Tools menu, and click
on the Color tab. Modify the bottom two rows of colors to adjust the
fill colors and line colors in Excel's default charts.

If it's all the other chart formats, follow Julie's advice and create a
few custom chart templates.
