I was warned, I did it anyway. McAfee products started telling me weeks ago
that I couldn't do basically anything because I wasn't an administrator. I
went to Users, intending to change it and back again to try and 'bump' the
status for Mcafee. Well., I'm user only now, Mcafee works ???, and I need to
know if there's a way to add a user so that 'he' can log in and change 'me'
back?

Please say yes. Thanks.

You'll need to log into the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, boot
the computer into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as
the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu. Navigate
using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here. Once in Safe Mode,
you will see the normally hidden Administrator account. The default
password is a blank.

Once in, go to Control Panel>User Accounts and create whatever user accounts
you need.
