I just need a high-level nudge in the directions I should research to allow
others to update some files on a web site. Up till now I've built sites
where I controlled all the content which included links to data like Word and
Excel files. Nothing sophisticated.
Now I have need to allow someone to update those files instead of having me
get them via email, add them to the site, and then publish the updates.
I'm not too concerned at this stage about security (it's one trusted person
who we want to have take over some of the data files i.e. she will have
config control).
Could someone just give me some of the buzzwords I should be using during my
education and a sense of whether this is a big or little deal? If I want to
expand the collaborative nature of a page or site, is that also straight
forward?
Thanks
