We have an older Video editing system that just completely crashed (with
a little help from the owners son). I know how to reset all the
software but I'm not entirely sure how to reset the SCSI video drives.
The system is running NT4 SP6, and I know that it was running 2 striped
NTFS SCSI drives in what I guess was RAID 1 at 64 bits per cluster. I
did have a total of 36 gigs of storage and am now down to 9 gigs with
dropped frames all over the place. Does anyone have any advice or links
on how to set this back up?

You will probably have to start over. If it was indeed striped, that is
RAID 0. That would explain part of the size discrepancy. A pair of 18 gb
drives Striped in RAID 1 would be 36gb. Mirroring (raid 1) would give half
the throughput of RAID 0.

Ahh I always get those two confused. I guess I need to do a little
research today on RAID 0. Thanks!
