We are using FrontPage to run our small company intranet. We have some
policy documents and bunches of How-To pages for different company
procedures.
Right now, I have a full local copy of the site on my laptop and that is
where I edit or add pages. When I am ready, I then publish the changes to
the company site, which is on a server on our LAN.
Here is my problem. Remember I'm new at this stuff. By setting things up
this way, everyone who wants to edit a procedure hsa to come to me now,
start up FrontPage on my laptop, and make the edits. How do I set it up so
they can use Word to edit the page they want to change and then I'll approve
the change before I publish it? They would have to be working with the most
current copy of the page which means they would have to access it from my
laptop or the server.
I know this probably sounds stupid to you experienced guys but I just don't
get how this process is done in real life.
Thanks for your help,
