need set up file

I have an e-machine
Microsoft won't help me, e-machines can't help me except to tell me to
reinstall, and I've already done that for other problems and these files
never showed up.

My package comes will all the files for office 2003, excell, powerpoint, BUT
it doesn't come with the set up file to actually install them.
Apparently my install disc was flawed or something.

The computer is now 5 mos old, and I have many personal files on it. I don't
want to wipe everything off with a re-install, when I know from past
reinstalls that it won't fix the problem.

Can anyone sent me this set up file(s)
Or tell me where to get them?

Thanks

If you purchased the machine locally then you should discuss this
problem with the dealer that sold it to you.

Does eMachines confirm that Office 2003 was part of the OEM software
bundle included with your computer, or was this (Office 2003)
something that was added by the dealer that sold the computer?

Very often the versions of Microsoft Office that come bundled with new
machines are very short term trial versions, and if that is what your
computer has then the trial period may have expired and this is what
is causing your problem.

Did your new computer come with a CD or DVD Burner and do you know how
to use it? You could use that to backup your data files (make 2
copies just to be safe and check them to ensure that you have all of
the files, including your emails.) That would take some of the risk
out of doing the reinstall.

Good luck
