Need Refresh-Butten to get contents displayed after SP2 install

Since SP2 is installed on my Win-XP PC, the contents of my favourite WEB-Page
is not properly dispayed anymore.
In 90% of the cases, the left part of the screen ( containing furtehr links
etc.) is left blank, and I need to press the REFRESH-Button to get the
information shown.
I wonder if there is a timeout parameter not propoerly adjusted, which may
cause this trouble, and if anybody has found a solution for that issue
already?
I'd appreciate any suggestions..
