I need to find a reputable company or individual who can develop a program
for me that will take a large group of PowerPoints and convert them so they
can be set to expire a year from the date of purchase. I'm not even sure
that what I want can be done. I would like for customers to be able to
download it from the internet with a password or key. Once it is on their
computer they can run the PowerPoints, but can't copy or modify them. The
PowerPoints will expire in a year. It needs to be compatible with XP, Vista
and Mac.

I have considered converting them to flash and running them from the
internet, but I don't really like this option.

If anyone can direct me to a company or individual that will help me with
this I will really appreciate it. Thanks.

Secure Pack won't work with Vista or Mac. If it did it would be perfect.

As you are using a server anyhow, have you considered using SharePoint?
This is exactly what its made for.

I would be very surprised if Secure Pack didn't work on Vista. The operating
system doesn't matter a whole lot here, except with regard to the PPT
Viewer. And the 2003 Viewer will run on Vista. You could drop the developer
of Secure Pack an email and ask him to be sure.

The thing is, your coder person would probably have to do two separate
downloads anyway -- one for Mac, one for Windows, since the Viewers are
different. Seems to me the Windows side of it is already done, though.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not familiar with SharePoint, I'll look into it.
Thanks for the suggestion. As for Secure Pack, it definitely won't work
with Vista. I've been in touch with the developer and he doesn't have a
solution, although I think he may be working on it.

I don't see how SharePoint would accomplish what I need, but then what I need
is a tech person I can hire to explain these things to me and develop what I
need if it isn't already out there. If anyone can point me to an individual
or company I would really appreciate it.

If anyone is interested in working on this project, or if you can direct me
to someone who will, please email me at (e-mail address removed)
