I recently purchased a digital camera and have been playing with it taking
pictures.I also downloaded PHOTOSTORY 3 and have burnt some dvds using NERO
7.0. I have a million questions but I'll start with: Is at what pixels is
the best to take my pictures at, as my camera can go to 6.1pixels.
What I want to do is to take general family and scenery pictures do some
cropping the add music making a slide show effect, I have very little
experience doing this and would appreciate some help. I have started out with
the basics and think that this would be a great hobby for a retired senior
like me.
ANYONE interested please answer my thread. thanks Bendgee

Your camera should always be set to the
best quality. Point being...if you only required
640x480 low resolution images for e-mail...
why would you purchase a 6MP camera in
the first place?

Once the images are downloaded to your
hard drive...I would suggest that you save
archival unedited copies on external media...
CDs, DVDs, etc...then and only then...begin
your editing, cropping, resizing...this way
you can always revert to the original if
something goes wrong.

From another semi-retired senior, yes it's a great hobby or more. I have 1/2
a million answers on my website, some of which might align with your
questions.... see the Photo Story 3 branch of the menu.

thank you for your reply. I bought the 6.1 pixel camera for taking all kinds
of pictures, I don't necessarly want to send e-mail pictures. I want to take
pictures and burn them to DVD Discs keep or send the discs to any
interesting partys involved, my concern was what setting would you recommend
as the best for doing this ?--

Full size - highest quality possible always.
Do your editing, resizing, cropping after
you download them to your hard drive.

I am having a problem with my TRIAL version of Nero 7 ultra edition. I made a
story onPHOTO Story3 , 11minutes long it plays all the way through on the
preview but when I burn it it only plays 4and a half minutes, would that be
on purpose because it is a DEMO I have reassembled it several times and it
has always only played for the 4and half minutes, STUCK FOR ANSWERS!!
