My computer crashed, Windows XP SP2 I reinstalled Windows XP, not SP2. My
account is still there but it is read-only and will not let me copy it, move
it, open it, nothing. What can I do?

I received "Error Copying File or Folder: Cannot create or replace Copy of
Debra A. Snipes: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or
write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

I suggest copying all worthwhile documents to another media using a (linux)
live CD for example and then formatting and re-installing the whole thing.
It takes a while to re-build everything but it pays of since you will get
more stable system in the long run.

Take ownership of the files:

What do you mean by "copy to ... then formatting and re-installing?" What do
you mean by "formatting?"
