need one file

i need one file that is missing or corrup it is
<windowroot>\system32\hal.dll. is there any way some one
from microsoft can send me that file and i could download
it to a floopy dick and then my xp would boot up and then
i would not have anymore problem's with my other back up
computer u no if u can help.
 
run sfc /scannow with your XP CD in the drive.
