Need new laptop, £450 max

As per title. Mainly used for work/internet (no gaming), I have seen this Acer below, is that a good spec? Is Vista really that bad? Should I try and find a system with XP as I don't want to be running into problems all the time.

Errm on the left of the page u can select what price range you want to look at, there is one there between 400 and 500. And i must say i want to buy one! O and they do laptops with Xp pro on them 2.

Acer support can sometimes be a bit suspect so i'm told.

My twin daughters have just bought one of These each. They're just about to start Uni.

They're Toshibas (the best imo) they come with Win XP Pro rather than flaky Vista, there's a free MS Office offer and also £50.00 cash back.

For the money, I don't think you'll do a great deal better. £410.00 less £50.00 cashback = £360.00

I got the Equivalent of 17.5% cash back on the cost from Toshiba when buying my Laptop.
Some good deals to be had, you just have to find them!.
