need music in powerpoint

i need 2 songs in my pp slide show... nothing for
distribution...personal use only... one song i finally
found on the internet and i can send the link so "you" can
see which one i need... and i'm searching for run for the
roses on theinternet as well... how do you get these from
the internet to the slide show... song 1 from 1-40 and
song 2 from slide 41-83... can someone help me... i would
be indebted to you forever!!!

I went to this link... read thru the entire site... any
support has to be done thru their newsgroup... it wouldn't
allow me to post (only instructions for outlook express) i
use outlook and couldn't get it to work...

found a topic on how to convert from cd audio to wav
clicked on the link, and the page doesn't come up... page
expired...

any other suggestions? i'm getting desperate...

After you find your music on the internt you will need to
make sure it is royalty free. If not you shuold pay for
the download though one of the music site that to that
sort of thing.
 
Camille, you need to use some sound editing software to convert music to
MP3 or WAV (if the music isn't already in that format).

First you download the music. And, even though its's for personal use
only, you're probably violating copyrights using "run for the roses."
You will want to check into that.

After you download the music, open it in the sound editing software and
follow that program's instructions for converting to a different sound
format. Usually it's a "save as" or "export" or something like that.

GoldWave, CoolEdit, Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge Studion are all good
programs for this kind of thing. And there are literally thousands more
