Hello,

I would like to stay away from both QT and Real. Any and all help will be
appreciated.

Irfanview is a GREAT image viewer, AVI support likely, though a plugin
may be required.

I'm only using it until I get the time to finish writing the one I started
writing over a year ago (never seem to get the chance to finish it, lol).
Besides, it has some cool skins ;o)

Disclaimer:
I know I'm probably wrong, I just like taking part ;o)

[intentional top post]

Please bottom post in acf. Also, your sig delimiter is broken -- should
be "-- ", not "--" <-- note the whitespace

Thanks.

Plugin only required for MOV video. Irfanview plays AVI fine, except for
Xvid and MJPEG codecs.

I like the Juke player because I can adjust the aspect ratio easily by
stretching the sides. Many of them require numbers for these
adjustments. (Son sent me downloaded episodes of a TV series, with the
characters appearing somewhat wide.)

MediaPlayer Classic and the free divx player are also good.

I am software junkie and have tried most...

The one that comes the closest to perfect...
I think <g>....is crystal player...

http://crystalplayer.com/

Auto download codec...adjusts for audio/video
sync....runs on slower computers....not real
audio or media player based....etc...etc.....

If you see anything that needs improvement or
have any suggestions for add on's let author
know....may come out on one of monthly updates...
seems to be a work of love in progress....

Freeware version available....this one is really
worth paying for...to support the author....

I am not connected in any way with author....just
am really impressed by what he has done....

have fun........sno
