Where do you buy your ink ?

Usually from Inkjetart.com. But with everything else OK I use Ebay.
But things have to be correct. Particularly expiration date. I do know
how much shipping is so you have to watch out for that.

To assist others please in the future give more details. This group
does have a jerk or two who have little else to make their lives
worthwhile except to be a jerk jerk!

He is a friend of Da Jerk

Take it easy on measkite Michael.

He is the unhappy product of an incestuous relationship that happened at
Canon. He has other medical problems besides his obvious inability to
do cognitive thinking and his obsessive compulsive behavior.

Just pat him on the head, feed him some dry ink cartridges and say "good
boy". That always seems to calm him down.

You are stuck on stupid, stupid. Haven't you noticed that EVERYONE hates
you in here and over at the Vista general ng?
Or are you as numb and as dumb as you appear to be.

This idiot is one of the very few people breathing that I would not
spend a fraction of a second mourning his death. He is nothing but a
blight on humanity, IMO. When he does finally take a dirt nap I
wouldn't be surprised if there are people dancing on his grave and some
of them will probably be his own family members.

I can't imagine why it is necessary or desirable to sink below even his
depth, as you did here. Crawling into the muck with him only gets you
dirty, too.

Now that you mention it that ritual does sound very appealing. It would
be merciful to all humanity to weed out that defective dna. He might
even volunteer just to get the attention. I would like to video it for
youtube.

I call it like I see it. ;)

All we would have to do is tell him it is a sacrifice to the OEM ink
gods. He would enthusiastically volunteer and likely commit suicide out
of blind obedience to his masters.

I recommend MIS inks. http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm

It's unfortunate that when someone like you asks a perfectly
reasonable question and someone like measekite answers you that 90% of
the following discussion is about measekite, including this post. In
fact, I'll bet that 90% of the posts in this NG has to do with
measekite. We all know what he/she is going to say re: OEM inks when a
novice like you posts for advice, although we all know that measekite
has no qualms about using non-OEM papers in a printer (Epson papers
for Epson printers, HP papers for HP printers, etc.), while insisting
on OEM inks.

I just wish from now on, all posts ignore what measekite says. Just
post around him/her, with maybe a preface statement to ignore
measekite. After all, it's what you need to know, not what others
think of measekite. Measekite is not going away. Just ignore him/her,
although measekite does occasionally make some good points about
printers, but those points are far & few between.

We must keep our eye on the ball, not on measekite.

It is unfortunate that a novice is subjected to advice that defy well
accepted mfg recommendations by a bunch of ink grease monkeys that may
risk loosing their warranty, provide image quality below the capability
the mfg designed into the printer, is known to have a higher risk of
fading, and is from mfg who they do not know who they are and are below
the reputations of the mfg.

That said I never claimed that OEM inks are a great value and are priced
correctly for they are not. But if you want to play then you have to pay.

These fools use aftermarket inks because they are cheap but they falsely
claim they are as good or better. They are either lying or mistaken. Now
I use Gimp and Linux over Windows and Photoshop. I believe that Linux is
a better OS than Windows but I also believe that Photoshop is better than
Gimp. I still use Gimp because of the savings but never claim it is
better than Photoshop.

But the so called know it all mechanics try to tell a novice that their
crap does not stink when it does.

So all of the novices should know that 90% of the printers out their use
factory ink. Now Staples sells a lot of ink and they also sell crap for
less so the customer does know about the crap yet over 90% choose to buy
Epson, HP, and Canon ink.

Now if you have a very old printer that you do not care about at all and
most of the stuff you print you really do not care about that much like
flyers or stuff from a website then you may want to try to use the junk
ink for less money but recognize it for what it is; inferior to OEM.

So keep your eye on the Measekite for good information.
