need ie6.0 for me to upgrade to ie6 sp1

Please, I have a windows 2000 server SP4 system on which i need to install
Mcafee auto update architect which needs a minimum of ie6 for normal
operation. I have ie6 sp1 installed without error. But when i try to run the
autoupdate architect to pull from Mcafee download site, it generates script
error messages. I guess it is because win 2000 server sp4 has ie5.5 which
needs to be upgraded to ie6.0 prior to the installation of ie6 sp1. I have
searched for ie6.0 but all to no avail. Please if any one knows the way out
to download ie6.0 i will be extremely grateful.

Post the error messages in their entirety.

You do not need to install IE6 prior to installing IE6 SP1; in fact, IE6
isn't even offered by Microsoft any longer.
