I had windows 98 for the longest time, now have a new computer with XP but want to create thank you cards etc. Easy when I had publisher. Does XP have an equivalent. Thanks a lot.
XP does not come with Publisher, but it can be purchased and installed separately. You may also want to try a web search for freeware/shareware alternatives.
Publisher was bundled with your previous setup by the PC manufacturer, it
wasn't then nor is it now a part of Windows. It is a separate application
and if it was not bundled with your new system by the system manufacturer it
can purchased separately at retail.
