I would like to know if I can use Windows Movie Maker and How to make a demo
about an application that I would like to show to my students? I have only a
legal Windows XP Prof. SP2, my DELL notebook, I don't have any digital or
other camera but I have the software installed in my notebook. Can I make a
sequence to show how software works?

Thanks in advance

JA

Sure by using screen shots of the software.

Creating a screen shot is easy enough. When the screen that you want is up
on the computer click the PRINT SCREEN (Usually called PRTSCN) button.
Then open Windows Paint or another image editing program and press CTRL+V to
paste the image to the program so you can crop it to just the scene you want
and save it.
Create a series of these screen shots and maybe some plain black or color
images to use for text messages in the video. Put it all together in Movie
Maker adding text and narrations as needed.

Of course this is a simple explanation and doesn't go into great detail but
this should at least get you started.
If you need more specific help ask away.

===============================
Movie Maker can be used to create a
project from existing still shots and video
clips but it cannot create the source files.

Few years ago when I used windows 98 I remembered when I used this OS all
things that I made it was possible to record, like a movie. How can I make
this with Windows XP?
