need help

DC Gringo

I am having problems with logging in. It takes 10 minutes or so. Once in,
I can get into shared drives and start my local SQL Server with my trusted
connection, but cannot log into Exchange server with Outlook (usually it's
trust as per my windows logon)...even with typing in username password
again. The roaming profile also does not sync either.

I'm using WinXP yet netdiag reads it was Windows 2k Prof build 2600 if that
makes any difference.

I would verify that you have the correct dns server(s) configured in your
tcpip protocol. They should be your internal dns servers for the domain that
your computer is a member of.
 
Yes, I did have some DNS issues as I had just changed docking stations and
my ethernet connection instance had changed. Anyway, I have fixed that, but
still have the same symptoms but some different diagnostics in netdiag and
are as follows:

Big problems are still the long login, and no access to Exchange server via
outlook. It rejects a separately entered password. File share, print
services, and other network services are authenticating just fine.
