I have a peer network with XPH, XPP and Win2K workstations. I've shared a
local printer on one of the XPP computers and no problem. when I share a
printer on the Win 2K computer wihen another workstations thry sto add it
they are prompterd for a username and password. How do I share the printer
on the win 2K comptuer without having to use a username and pasword to add
it to another work station? I've checked secuiryt settings and "everyone"
should be able to print to it.

TIA

First you should have everyone in the same workgroup.

Second if you create the SAME name and same password
account as the users on the other machines they should
get auto-authenticated. (This worked for years under
NT and I believe it still works.)

Maybe the Home Xp doesn't know how to do that.
