I Installed Autopatcher XP on my system and I let it do its thing.
What I didn't realize was it installed a registry setting that
disabled the welcome screen and made classic logon the default. I go
into user settings in control panel and check welcome screen and fast
user switching but it doesn't take.

I guess what I am looking for is the place in the registry where I can
set something that will allow me to check this stuff in user settings.
I tried some things on the Kellys page and the Doug knox pages but
nothing seemed to help.

Also I looked to see if there was an undo setting in Autopatcher but I
didn't see anything.

Help Please,

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Look in the right pane for LogonType and AllowMultipleTSSessions. Both of these values should be set to 1. If not, double click on the value name and change it.

Well, both the values are set to 1. Also I did find an undo reg. tweak
for the classic logon but it is still stuck in classic logon mode.

I'm still looking for some kind of solution.
