I get a Stop error on my 2k serve:

STOP 0X0000001E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0XC0000005, 0XF21202FB,
0X00000000, 0X00000028)

There is no Device driver or dll listed.....

I can boot in safe mode, Safe mode w/net support, and Directory repair.

I Uninstalled the past weeks updates and the Divx codec recently
installed.

I was having problems with Adobe 7 pro just prior to this issue and was
and still am unable to reinstall or uninstall the program. Tells me
something about an invalid installer...

I have tried the following:

Full Virus Scan - Both Avast pro and antivirus.com Found Nothing
Scan Disk in a separate standalone XP box and on The Server in
Directory repair mode.
Removed SCSI card
Removed IDE Controller card (Silicon Image SiI 680 ATA 133)
Disabled all Windows Media Services
Ran diskperf -n from a dos prompt
Disabled any memory caching in BIOS
Tried booting into VGA mode - Same Error
Disabled and enabled Adobe LM Service
Updated Video Drivers - Well Reinstalled them
Disabled Terminal Services
Removed my Present Antivirus program

So far nothing has made a difference.

System is a P3 Duel 700 Processors, 512 megs Registered ram, Intel duel
slot 1 MB, P6B40D-A5, Boot Drive is WD 40. I have Service pack 4 and
all the Windows Updates installed.

Any ideas please Help

In such cases I can usually restore normal operation by restoring
the registry from my registry back-up, which I take with regback.exe
once a week.

If this is not feasible then a System State restore from my backup
medium would have much the same effect.

What is Regback.exe? Never heard of it.

System State restore? I have no real back up software on this Server as
2K didn't support m y FDD Tape Drive.

Any Other Ideas. To add to the post I run mirrored Drives but both
Drives boot with the same Problem

Regback.exe is a tool that comes with the Server resource
kit. It is freely downloadable from some Microsoft site. When
invoked regularly with the Task Scheduler, it almost delivers
the functionality of System Restore. It has helped me on several
occasions to repair a server installation within a very short time,
i.e. 15 minutes versus several hours of advanced system configuration.

ntbackup does NOT depend on a tape drive. You can just
as easily back up the System State to a disk drive, e.g. a 2.5"
disk in a USB case. Running a server without regular backups
is a very expensive option in the long run.

Use msconfig.exe (http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm)
to disable all startup tasks and all non-Microsoft services while
in Safe Mode, then bring them back one or two at a time until
you find the culprit. Then rethink your backup philosophy!

Great. I have been looking for somthing like MSConfig for my 2k
Servers. (I have 4 running most of the time) As for the regback don't
have the Server Resource for W2k but am looking for it.

Yea the Back up soultion is a big Problem. This my webserver has been
rebuilt 2 tims this year because of failing SCSI Drives or courupt
Drivers. Last year has a Courupt Administrator Profile and had to
create a new Profile to get in to my Server as an Admin

But Thanks again... :)

Tried the MSConfig with Diagnostic mode and stil lget the Stop error
but the number did change:

STOP 0X0000001E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0XC0000005, 0XF21102FB,
0X00000000, 0X00000028)

But other wise no luck. :(
