I am sure the resolution is very simple, I just cant remember how to do it.
I have programs that are automatically starting when my computer starts.
They aren't in my start up folder and when I right click on the icon I cannot
find where I can disable it. One is a quicktime file, not the application
but something else. The other is my printer software and no where in the
program can I find an option to stop it from opening. How do I stop programs
from starting that arent in the start up folder? Is there a way to do this
other than stopping the process every time I boot up? Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks

Grab this:

http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

Get the full version and it will put a nice icon into the Control Panel
(Classic View) for you to use.
