Ok I have my own account on windows xp home edition and I want to make
it secret. I already removed the account from welcome screen now I need
to take it off the user account managment page. How do I take the
account of the user account page?

thanks

You can't. If you have given that user account a strong password then it
should be adequately protected from someone else logging on as that
ccount. --- Steve

So there is no way to do that? It nots a matter of protecting
it...just hiding it

No, there is no way. I can't think of any legitimate reason for hiding a
user account on a computer. As Steve said, if you have set a strong
password then someone else can't get in - unless they are an
administrator.

If you want any more help with this, post back with the reason you are
trying to do this - your end goal.

Alright, my end reason with hiding an account is too make sure that n
one can see the account, and no one will think I am using th
computer...I'd rather not give you the reasoning behind it because it
a little personal, but If you need more info just ask.

There is no way to hide your user account. You would be far better off
to deal with whatever personal problems you are having by speaking to
the person with whom you are having difficulties, your boss, your
parents, whoever. Naturally, I don't need or want to know the details.

Aside from the fact that trying to fix human relationship problems with
technology just doesn't work, what you want to do may be illegal where
you are and get you into some really hot water.
