Need help with remote assistance

I can invite someone to remote my comp, but when someone remotes me to take
over their comp, I get this message :
REMOTE ASSISTANCE CONNECTION COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED BECAUSE THE REMOTE
HOST NAME COULD NOT BE RESOLVED.

Can you tell me what I need to do to solve this?
And is it on my comp or the other person's?

Are you behind a router?
If so - have you forwarded the proper port to the internal IP of the machine
in question?
Have you opened the correct port in any software firewall you are running?
Have you verified the invitation file (if you are sending a file) you sent
has your external IP?
