need help with query/search

Can someone help me figure out how to design a form on my site where someone
puts in a query and the form brings back the search results for that query?
I need it to be on a php/mysql server - as my server doesn't support asp....

Is your site running on a server
running UNIX.

If so, does it have the CPanel webmaster interface.
If so, does it have the Entropy Search feature??
