Hello

I'm trying to create a macro to

i) Start a movie clip
ii) End a movie clip

in the Slideshow when you click on an interactive button or form.

I would be grateful if someone could post the code for me to use.

Thank you.

As Astin says go to custom animation > movie actions add a start and stop
action and have them triggered by a click on buttons

Thanks to your advise, I can do the stop button, and separate Go and
pause buttons,

But what I'm actually trying to do is to mimic the controls of a
mediaplayer type control.

Which basically means I need a

Go/pause button (when you click on it, it changes from an icon of
circle with triangle in it to a circle with 2 rectangle bars in the
cirle and starts playing

when you click on it again, it pauses and the icon changes back.

The pause action seems to do it, but is it complicated to do the icon
change? That would require a macro right? Has anyone done something
like this?

You still dont need vba

Have two overlapping buttons one to pause with icon and one to play with
that icon .Have the triggers do the action and disappear or appear the
corresponding buttons If the buttons are identical except for the icons it
will look like the icons are changing. Make sense?

Did that answer the question / help?

Mind giving me a step to step guide on how to do so? I can't figure out
this trigger thing , how to make them appear and disappear. I already
have 2 icons (pictures actually) of the same square size.

It will if you give me the steps. :)
