I have two computers.
a desktop and a laptop. Both are running Win XP SP2 home edition.
Both connect to the internet fine via a D-link router and cable modem..

Sharing is enabled on both computers. I can ping back and forth between them
no problem..
User name is the same on both computers..

here's the problem...
the 'desktop' can see and access the laptop (see the shared folders)
BUT the laptop cannot access the desktop (access denied error) even though
both show up in the same workgroup.

what can I do to start troubleshooting and correct this problem?

thanx a million!!!

P.S.
I forgot to mention that I have run the Network wizard both ways.. no
change.
and have also tried disabling windows firewall (I completely removed Norton
Firewall from the desktop)
