need help with my display

i had to reinstall windows xp professional on my dell 2400 i did that but now my display settings are really huge i tried to change my settings and it wont let me i also see that my monitor type says it is in dafault and the proporities is light grey and i cant do nothing about it and i cant chance my pixels either what should i do im not blind but my screen is so huge and my letters are like half inches tall need help thatnk you
 
You probably need the correct video driver. You should be
able to get it from the Dell site using your service tag
number . . .

Maybe you also need to replace your keyboard. Your shift key and punctuation
keys appear to be broken.

Go to Properties>Advanced, and look for icon sizes. I set
mine on about 50, for a screen resolution of 1024x768.
