Hello,

I have a dell OptiPlex GX110. currently have 256 pc100 Ram. The max memory
for this computer says 512. The question i have is, i can't find out for the
life of me if this is low density or high density ram. I wanted to just
purchase a 256 stick from the local computer store. How can i tell ....if i
buy low density will it work eitherway ??

any input would be appreciative thank you so much

This system uses an Intel 810E chipset. It supports memory chip densities up to
128Mbit. You will want a 256MB DIMM with sixteen 16Mx8(128Mbit) chips.

You may also see 256MB DIMMs with only eight 32Mx8(256Mbit) chips, or with
sixteen 32Mx4 chips--don't get these for the GX110.
