Mr Tuvok

Hello.I have just made the switch from AMD. This is my 8th PC but my
first all Intel rig. I am aware of the fact that there is bios issues
with this board, but I want to exhaust all other possibilities first.
I have acquired the following:
Intel 3.0C
1 Gig of Corsair LL DDR400
LiteOn 52x24x52 CDR
Toshiba DVD-R
2 WD Caviar 200 Gig HD's [to start]
Antec True 550
MSI FX5600 with 256 megs of DDR
Generic full tower
Everything lights up, but the board WILL NOT POST.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
[Yes, I have printed the manual & am reading it intently.]

Try the following.

Disconnect everying except your processor, Memory, video card and power
supply. See if it will post then. Do bare essentials and try to eliminate
the source.
I did that. Still no luck. Then I removed the video card, then the
memory, then the CPU. Not a sound. I have since RMA'ed the board & let
Newegg sort it out. Also used the opportunity to order a Lian-Li PC70
case. The generic case's drive cage is squashing the drive connectors.
I don't think it's P4 capable.

New board came Thursday. Problem solved.
