What kind of help do you need?...besides getting rid of a lot of extra
words.

when trying to upload updates to the website it won't let me, I keep getting
error messages. I update it a few times a day every day and have been doing
the same thing for years. I do it by http and now that process won't work. I
tried ftp and that really screwed things up as frontpage decided to delete
files from the website. The site was restored by tech support at the
webhost....but now I'm back to trying to make updates by http and it won't
let me.

....and, those *exact* error messages are?

ok....here is the error message:

unable to open "http://cine2005.ehost-services131.com/.
Server Error: server error: error 2 opening registry key
"software\microsoft\shared tools\web server extensions\ports\port 80".
Possible causes:
1. the web server may not have the front page extensions installed.
2. the web server may be temporarily out of service
3. if you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be
incorrect.
4 an error may have occurred in the web server.
If the server does not support front page server extensions, frontpage may
still be able to publish to the server via FTP or webdav. Please select one
of the options and try again.

ok.....so that is the error message.

now....the webhost DID just change servers on me....and the exact name of
the server is the one I listed above. I did make the appropriate change.

How did the host move your content between servers? With FP it needed to be published or restored
from backup, not copied.
