Anyone familiar with tis problem?
My scanner was working fine as recently as earlier today, but when I
tried to start it this afternoon, it's acting like something has
failed inside. If I turn the power switch on, the green light of the
front panel lights up, but nothing happens "inside" the scanner... no
hum, no scanner light... just like something has died. Is there a
reset switch anywere? Is there anything that's "replacable" that I can
check before I just ditch it and spring for a new one? This thing
isn't very old (I have an old SCSI Microtek that's still operable) so
it might be that there's a "known" problem with this model?
Any comments or suggestions are welcome, including what might be a
good replacement to look at if this one's done for. I also have a
Nikon LS-IV for scanning 35mm; I got this one to replace the SCSI
Microtek because of the ability to scan 2x2 film.... so it would be
nice to have that ability in anything I might get to replace it.
