Ive saved a few movies in the past from Windows Movie Maker. But I've just
recently created a new one and when I go to save my movie onto my pc a
message pops up telling me I cannot save the movie to the specified location
because either I have no disk space, the saving location is unavailable or
the original sorce files are unavailable. I know I have enough space, I know
the place I want to save my movie exists and when I play my movie back no
clips are missing so all my files are still there but it will not let me save
it. Can anyone help?

You may have compatibility issues with
your source files.

Have a look at the following articles:

Thankyou John you helped me out big time. After reading the articles you sent
I realised that because I had a lot of small few second clips windows movie
maker had trouble processing them when I came to save the movie. So I had to
first save the project as a DV-AVI (PAL) which converts your clips into one
big clip then save it as a movie file. You lose a lot of quality this way but
at least you get your video.

Maybe you could retain the quality if you
use a custom profile when saving:
