I have read several of the positings regarding the uninstall process, i.e., delete the system folder, then re-transfer the OS via a floppy to over write the boot record. However

I have W2k and XP HE.... My system folders are Windows and WINNT. How do I determine which belongs to W2000 and which belongs to XP

Greetings --

By default, Win2K creates a C:\Winnt folder upon installation, and
WinXP creates a C:\Windows folder. But a quick check of the
C:\Boot.ini file will tell you which is which.

If you delete the whole system folder, it's going to take a whole lot more
than a floppy disk to get it running again.
