I have a laptop containing a very well working Windows XP
installation, installed on a partition using the entire disk. But now
I have to install a company spesific XP installation on the same
laptop. This is to be installed using an unattended setup which "takes
no prisoners", meaning it will re-partition the entire disk and
install itself "all over". But I want to have both installations on my
computer and be able to select which one to use during boot. How do I
preserve the existing installation and put it back on the computer? I
can take a backup using PQ DriveCopy 4.0, but how do I put it back on
the disk AND make it work? I do have PQ Partition Magic 8.0, and I
imagine I can work it out somehow using this and BootMagic, but I'm
not sure how. Advise wanted!
