Need help recovering the Encryption keys?

Hi guys, was just wodering if there is I can do... Here's the situation:
I have 2 hard drives (H1 and H2)
H1 has 1 partition: NTFS with data, some of it is Encrypted.
H2 has 2 partitions: P1=NTFS partition with an XP installation, P2= Fat32.

I shut down my computer at night, and when I turned it back up again in the
morning, XP just hangs in the middle of booting.

Tried Safe Mode, same thing happened. Booted with XP CD and used Recovery
Console to try to run chkdsk, but after choosing the Recovery Console option
from the menu, it examines the first drive H1, and then examines the 2nd
drive H2 and it hangs it doesn't get past that point.

Installed XP on the other drive H1. But the new XP hangs again when booting.
the onyl time it would boot correctly is if I disconnect the 2nd drive H2.

Booted with a Win98 bootdisk, and I was able to access the Fat32 partition,
and use a DosNTFS program, and was able to access the oldXP partition.

I know I can't access the excrypted data without the keys from the old XP
and I stupidly didnt' back them up. So... I just want to know if there is any
way to get them off that partition? or any other way to fix the old XP
partition?

I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Hi

As you have access to the user profile folders for the user that
encrypted the files and if you remember the password for the user
that encrypted the data, you might be able to save the files.
