My pictures I am transferring to MM2 are good quality but the preview is
blurry. I saw another posting about this & I understand that when I finally
save it to another media format it will improve depending on what format I
choose.... How EXACTLY do i do this???? I am also having a problem with the
audio quality to my slideshow once it is transferred to DVD..... I had
previously burned it to a DVD using Nero 6 - I now have 7 (don't exactly know
why I purchased it) & the quality of the photos were blurry like in the MM2
preview, the audio sounded bad, & the picture seemed to move around a bit on
the screen. Can someone please help me??? I am a bit challenged when it
comes to formats, etc... I need step-by-step instructions

Hi Nicole,
There are quite a few different issues here and much information to give you
about them but lets give it a shot.
First of all a blurry picture in the preview window is typical since the
preview is only 320x240 and hence not a high quality rendering. Basically
the "other format" you are referring to is simply that the pictures should
be better once the project is saved as a movie file.
Here's where it gets a little tricky. Since you are working with only still
images and audio you do NOT want to save the movie as a DV-AVI like we
normally suggest for creating DVD's but instead want to save it as a High
Quality NTSC file. This will create a WMV file that should result in better
quality images.
As far as the audio goes it again could be because of the AVI file.
Sometimes when working with stills and audio and then saving as a DV-AVI you
get audio anomalies where there are transitions. When this happens the
problem often goes away when you save as a high quality NTSC file. If it
doesn't then look at the audio file(s) themselves. If they are MP3 then try
converting them to WAV or WMA and putting the new file in your project. That
should solve the audio issue.
Now as far as purchasing Nero 7 that was a good purchase. IMO version 7 is
considerably better than version 6.

Ok. So when I save the MM2 file as a movie to my computer I will save it as
a high quality video NTSC file per your suggestion. I will do this tonight &
see how the playback goes & see if it corrects not only the picture but he
audio as well. If it doesn't correct the audio, I will convert the mp3 songs
to WAV on iTunes & then import them. I will let you know if it works. Thank
you so much - my project is due on Sunday so I appreciate the quick
reply......
