Need Help Plz

I got a virus in my system through a flash drive....and cleared by avast antivirus....

the viruses detected were
win32:autoRun-MB[wrm]
& win32: AutoRun-HF

now the problem is that i m unable to show up hidden files
and Hard disk Drive's opens in a new window...

Also yahoo messenger is not opening up after virus...

I would be thankfull for HElp..!

Op Sys is Win XP professional....

And not any specific program was running when i plugged the Flash drive in....

Anyways thanks for ur reply i have solved the problem but still eager to know the Virus detail for future lookouts...!

(the virus file is named as uni91x.com, U.com, Autorun.ini these are hidden and i deleted them after reinstalling Win-98)
