NEED HELP PLEASEEE installing

hey
i just formatted my comp, (got rid of current partion) and now it goes to
install windows from disk and thers a number of files it says it cannot
copy.....and when i skip all the files my computer wont run right.......how
do i fix this?!

are you installing from the xp cd or the 6 set up discs? it seems thaat you
are reinstalling if you just reformatted and all your data in the drive c is
lost. if you are installing from a xp cd, you need to load the drivers for
each of the hardware that is installed in your computer. To avoid this, you
can slipstream (it means copy all of the contents of the i386 folder from the
xp cd to a temporary folder (you need access to another computer to do this)
i'm not going to go into detail because it will take forever, go to google
and type "Nlite" this is the easiest way to run a clean install of xp step by
step. Also look a PC stats for beginners, they teach you how to
slipstreaming for beginners..
