I am not a new user by any means, and use a lot of desk top editing
programs, so I know my way around a colour wheel. However, when I try to
change a colour scheme in powerpoint 2000, the colour picker doesn't change
the new added colour when I hit apply. I've tried fiddling with the master
slide, the change colour scheme, the simple background dialoge box and no
matter what, the colours revert to black when I try to pick a colour.

Please help, I'm on a tight deadline and am not sure what to do.

thank you

Louise

I'm not sure I understand, Louise. PPT doesn't really have a color
picker. At least, it doesn't have an eyedropper thing like PhotoShop or
many other image editors do.

If you can give us step by step instructions to replicate what you're
doing, we can maybe tell you what's going wrong. You don't have to do
that for all the different things you've tried, of course. :-) Just one
should be enough.
