Hello. I need some help imorting in music to my slide show. I've got only
still photos of my son that i want to put to music for a slideshow/movie. I
downloaded a song off the internet that i want to use. I've tried to import
the song from my media player and a CD that i burned it to but it won't allow
me to do this. I get a error saying it is protected using digital rights.
I've done it before for my sister-in-law using a song from a creed CD but I
can't remember how i did it. Please help me i want to make this movie so
bad. Thank you

You need to rip the song back off the CD.
Make sure that the program you use to take the song off the CD has Digital
Security turned off.
As a side note if you are only working with still images and music to create
a slideshow you may want to consider downloading and using Photo Story 3:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx
It is designed more for what you are doing than Movie Maker which was
designed for video editing.
Both programs will work, of course, but you may like Photo Story 3.

First thank you for your response. I guess i'm computer dumb. I can't take
the somg off the CD because it is only a CD-R (or at least i don't know how).
I still have the song saved in my media player can I do something with it
there? Thank you for the suggestion on the other program. I'm going to look
at it today. Do you know anything about it?
