need help importing excel appt info into outlook 2003 calendar

I am following the HELP for this topic but it hangs up on the import screen
(the one that says it will take a while and can't be cancelled)

Any guidance? (It is a simple .csv with 3 columns - appt info, date, time)

Create a calendar item or 2 and export it. Compare the Outlook output to
yours and massage yours accordingly.
