Need help immediately

HI
i've windows xp home edition installed 2 yrs ago, and i have this problem since yesterday. I don't know what happen, but suddenly my start bar is not working properly(can't open the start).When I start the computer, it takes 10 minutes for me to be able to use the start bar,even so, it responds very slow. Please HELP

Don't be so demanding in your post's. Many, like myself, will not feel the
