Hello everybody. I have a new (2 months old) HP PSC1100
scanner-printer, and I am facing a scanning problem. It appeared 1-2
days ago, and while before all was working perfectly. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
My problem is that when I scan photos, I can see yellow-orange
parallel lines accross the result photo. In some pictures it's more
obvious than in others, e.g. it's more celarly shown in photos with
lots of yellow and brown colors, while it's almost invisible in pics
with blue colors. Thing is though, that when I rotate the pic on the
scanner, trying to scan it from another angle, the lines appear on the
same place (as if there were stains on the glass-which is not the
case). Another info you might find useful: When I try to edit the
faulty pic on an image editor, when I split the pic into the 3
channels, RGB, the "Blue" color channel is the only one onto which the
lines appear.
Could it be a software problem, therefore I should re-install the HP
drivers?
Or perhaps a hardware?
Any comments, suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
