Hi everybody--this is probably a silly question, but here it is: I
have a WinNT 4 server that is the PDC for our old domain. I put in a
new Win2k3 (SBS) server as the PDC in a new, non-contiguous domain.
When I browse network places on the new server, I can browse into the
old domain, but cannot connect to the old NT server from the new
server. Other computers in the new domain can connect to either server
just fine, and the NT server can connect to the 2k3 server. It's just
going from the 2k3 server to the NT server that I can't connect. Any
ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ken

Sounds to me like a trust issue with the NT4 domain. You need to
establish a trust in the NT4 domain to allow your new networked domain
controller to see that domain.

You should look at microsoft.com for transitive and non-transitive
trusts, I belive those are the terms.
