I read a tip that helped me load web sites faster by making all images on the
sites and E-mails seemed blurry and checkered. As tho the images were made up
of small squares...I want to change it back. How do I do this. It was a
setting somewhere in my Windows XP Home edition I think.

This isn't a setting in the operating system (XP) but rather is a
setting in your ISP's software, like if you use AOL or MSN. It is
called an "accelerator" to give the illusion that your dialup
connection is really faster than it is. The connection isn't any
faster, it is just that images and other data are compressed to make
them smaller so naturally they download faster than bigger items.

Malke;
Thanks for the information, but I actually made a change in the way my
laptop recieves images. It has nothing to do with my ISP. I've already
checked that out. Any other suggestions...ANYONE..?
