Ok i've read most of the posts on audio today and I'm still lost so i've came to the conclusion that the problem is me. I'm gonna ask a few dumb questions anyways.

OK... Is there a seperate track for audio contained in the video clip? if so i cant find it. I noticed the little speaker in the corner of my clip and my right click on my mouse is allmost worn out from right clicking everywhere. I cant seem to find any volume controls besides the icon on the bottom corner or the audio levels in the edit menu...using these change the volume of my entire video and I only want to mute the audio in a few video clips.

Check the picture I have on my Editing > Audio > Intro page at
www.papajohn.org

The top track is the audio part of the video clip.... but you might have to
expand the video track to view it. The bottom track is the audio/music track
that is always visible.
