I posted this question hours ago but haven't got response
yet. I have been dealing with the user-level security set
up without any success for couple of days.
I opened the DB, ran the user-level security set-up
wizard, set a test table as the secured object, my user
name was already there in the next window--it appeared to
be the same as my window log on name. I didn't put any
password under my username, but assigned Admins to it.
Then I was asked to close the DB and re-open it. When I
re-open it, the message said I don't have permission to
open it. How on earth I locked myself out?
The wizard is supposed to be very simple and straight
forward, how come it doesn't work on me? It might be just
a small thing I didn't set up well, but what is it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
