I have a subform that shows data as a continous form. I use the subform to
enter Materials data for a project quoting database. The form looks as
follows with headings and fields as shown. My problem is that I want the
Unit to be displayed on the part name line after the Part Name has been
selected. I tried to create a query and build an expression pointing the
query in the Control Source of the textbox but all i get is the error
#Name?. I also tried to modify the subform's SQL statement Record Source by
linking the table that has the Units associated with the Part Name. That
works but does not allow new records to be added to the subform. I am stuck
here and could use some assistance.
